Such a thing certainly seems possible only in Berlin. A gigantic building site as destination of countless tourists. At Potsdamer Platz the capital`s new centre rises from the Berlin ground in record time. Large-scale investment companies from the whole world have entrusted the most renowned architects with the legendary square`s reconstruction. Here, the focus of the blooming metropolis of Berlin lay already in the twenties of the last century.
After its destruction in World War II, the area became a no man`s land between the two German states. Meanwhile, life has already been excitingly revived round here again, as more than half of the planned buildings have been completed. Shopping malls, a 3D-cinemadome and luxurious hotels tempt the tourists in the same way as the Info-Box, in which the viewer`s eye marvels at an imaginary vision of the future square.
