<< Hanover

Several years ago, the Expo 2000 closed its gates at the Hannover exhibition centre. With the departure of the visitors, peace and quiet has returned and many of the pavilions have been dismantled. Those left standing have been put to new uses. The most prominent user of the site is Mousse T., a musician, producer and entrepreneur in the charts business.

Here at the recording studio "Peppermint Park" he composes, records and mixes his own hits and songs for top-ranking international singers like Tom Jones. Destination Germany has been and taken a look behind the scenes of the music business. You can get to know Hannover itself on a tour of the city. A walk through the old city - which is not in fact an old city, but a reconstruction effectively clothed in old facades - will inform you about the fate of Lower Saxony's state capital during and after the Second World War. During the First World War, the Kestner Society was founded, Hannover's most renowned art society, in whose rooms many interesting aspects of modern art are on display.
