NOTE: Many re-booked airline tickets will be subject to fare differences resulting from re- scheduling to a higher cost travel period, day of week, upgraded booking class or cabin, and increases in taxes and ticket fees.

Aer Lingus: If you have a ticket between the U.S.A. and Ireland , you may cancel the ticket through March 31, 2008, for a credit voucher for the full amount of your ticket. You must use the voucher for travel that is completed by December 31, 2008. Changes must be made at least 72 hours before departure.

Air Canada : If you have any discounted ticket booked for travel during the 30 days following the start of war, you may postpone without penalty to any date until Dec. 31, 2008. Other standard ticket restrictions still apply. Covered flights include U.S. transborder and international travel on Air Canada , Jazz, Tango, Air Canada codeshares, and Aeroplan award tickets. You must change the ticket before the scheduled departure date.

Air France: Air France Group will waive some restrictions on tickets bought in the U.S.A. Passengers with tickets for a departure on or before June 30 will be allowed to change both the date and destination free of charge, as long as they depart the U.S.A. before December 31.

Air Jamaica: Now that the war has begun, you may change your ticket without penalty subject to these conditions: You must be ticketed to travel through Sept. 30, 2008; you may re-schedule the trip to begin travel at any time within one year of the original date of travel; and the request to re-book must be made before the original departure date. No shows will not be eligible for re-booking. If you have already started your trip and you wish to return home earlier than you are currently scheduled, you may change your ticket without penalty during the war period.

AirTran: Customers with reservations purchased prior to March 20, 2008, will be given the option of requesting a credit for the value of unused tickets to be used for up to one year from the original date of purchase. Travel must be originally scheduled to take place between March 20 and May 20, 2008. You must request the credit before your original departure date, but no later than April 1, 2008. If you have a paper ticket, you must request the credit through your travel agency.

Alaska/Horizon: If you have an Alaska or Horizon ticket, and war breaks out or a Level Red homeland security alert begins, you may change the ticket without paying any change fee. You must change the ticket before the scheduled departure date, and travel on the new ticket must be completed by Sept. 1, 2008. You may also use the full value of the unused ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket.

Alitalia: You may re-book once, without penalty fees, any ticket that falls within 60 days of the start of the military action. The change must be made within 30 days for travel through December 31, 2008. The new reservation must be made in the same booking code as originally ticketed. Peak season or weekend surcharges do not apply to re-bookings. Passengers holding restricted tickets who wish to cancel their plans will receive a nonrefundable certificate good for future Alitalia transportation within one year of the date of issuance.

America West: You may make a one-time change in your ticket before the original departure date without paying any change fees. The new departure date must be no earlier than 30 days after the original departure date, and you must complete the trip by October 31, 2008. You may change the originating and departing cities. If you are in the middle of a trip, you may stand by for other flights at any time through March 26, 2008.

Aloha: Aloha will waive the initial change fee after the war starts or when a Code Red alert begins for a one-time change in any restricted ticket with travel dates within 90 days from the war or alert start date.

American: If you have a domestic or international American/American Eagle/American Connection ticket purchased any time through April 19 for travel through May 18, you may make a one-time change without paying the standard change fee. You must make the change by April 19 or no later than the originally scheduled date of travel. Travel may be rescheduled for any date through December 31, 2008. It also applies to passengers who started travel prior to March 19 and wish to change their return. American's previous policy of allowing customers who purchase tickets between March 7 and March 31 for international travel (except between the United States and Canada)to reschedule for any date through December 31 without penalty. That policy, which was not contingent upon a military action or Level Red Alert, still applies. These tickets must be changed by May 31, 2008, but no later than the scheduled departure date. Fare differences will apply, and you will receive a nonrefundable travel voucher if the change results in a lower fare.

ATA: Customers may postpone their travel and apply the full value of the unused ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket, with no change fee, as long as travel is initiated within 90 days of the start of the war or Code Red alert. They must contact the airline before the original departure date to make the change. Tickets purchased after the start of the war or Code Red alert will be subject to normal policies.

BWIA: In the event of military action, you may make one change in your travel plans without paying the standard change fee. This policy applies to tickets purchased any time for travel within 30 days after the start of military action. You must make the change within 30 days of the start of military action, but no later than the original departure date. Travel may be re-scheduled for any date through December 31, 2008. If you purchase a ticket through March 31, 2008, for travel through December 31, 2008, you may change your itinerary one time without penalty. You must change the ticket before May 31, 2008, or by the original departure date (whichever is earlier), and you must complete your travel by December 31, 2008. Nonrefundable travel vouchers will be issued when the change results in a lower fare.

Continental: If you have a CO/COEX/CO Connection, CMI, or CO codeshare ticket (via Virgin Atlantic) scheduled for travel through May 18 you make a one-time change to your travel plans without paying the standard change fee. You must make the change by the earlier of April 19 or the originally scheduled date of travel. Travel may be rescheduled for any date through December 31, 2008. If you started your travel prior to March 19 and whsh to change the return you may do so. These policies are subject to change without notice. Also, you may change any international tickets (except certain island destinations and tickets for travel between Canada and the U.S.) purchased between March 5 and March 31 one time as long as travel is completed by Dec. 31, 2008 without paying any change fee; these tickets must be changed by May 31, 2008, but no later than the scheduled departure date. Fare differences will apply, and you will receive a travel credit if the change results in a lower fare.

Delta: For transatlantic tickets on Delta only, you may change any ticket purchased between March 5, 2008, and March 31, 2008, without paying any change fee before May 31, 2008, for travel until Dec. 31, 2008. You may change any portion of your itinerary, including travel dates, class of service, and destinations.

Frontier: Customers holding previously issued tickets for travel beginning within 90 days of the start of the war (by June 19, 2008) can make a one-time itinerary change without incurring the standard change fee. The new itinerary must reflect travel that occurs within the same 90-day period. These policies apply also to EarlyReturns frequent flier tickets and to the airline ' s entire route system, including Mexico destinations and markets served by Frontier JetExpress. You must change the ticket before the original date of departure. If you are currently mid-trip, March 26, 2008 is the last day on which you can make a change without penalty.

Hawaiian: In the event of a military action or Code Red alert, you may make a one-time change to any confirmed ticket without paying change fees if the ticket covers travel within 90 days of the start of the war or alert. You must contact the airline within 90 days of the start date or by the originally scheduled departure date, whichever comes first. Travel may be re- booked for any day through December 31, 2008.

Lufthansa: The airline is allowing free rebooking or cancellations for tickets to and from the U.S.A. , Canada , Asia and the Middle East . The offer is valid until two months after a war starts. Ticket holders who have not started their trip can either rebook or cancel and receive vouchers for future travel, but there will be no refund.

Mexicana: Nonrefundable fares will remain nonrefundable, but you may change your ticket without paying change fees for travel during the war period from the U.S.A. and Canada to Mexico , Central America, and South America, as well as domestic travel within Mexico . Travel must be completed by December 14, 2008.

Northwest/KLM: For North American travel, you may change any ticket with a scheduled departure date within 60 days of the onset of war with all travel completed through Dec. 15, 2008, one time without paying any change fee. You must change the ticket within 30 days of the onset of war but no later than the scheduled departure date. For transatlantic, transpacific, and inter-Asia travel, you may change any ticket with a scheduled departure date within 90 days of the onset of war with all travel completed by Dec. 15, 2008, one time without paying any change fee. You must change the ticket within 30 days of the onset of war, but no later than the scheduled departure date.

Qantas: If you purchased a ticket from North America between March 7, 2008 and March 31, 2008, for travel through December 31, 2008, you may make a one-time change in travel plans without incurring standard change fees. You must change the ticket by May 31, 2008, or the original departure date (whichever is earlier), and you must complete your travel by December 31, 2008.

Singapore: For tickets issued in North America between March 12, 2008, and March 31, 2008, or any tickets held at the time of military action or during a Code Red alert, you may make a one-time change without incurring change fees if you make the change by May 31, 2008 (or the original departure date, whichever is earlier), with re-booked travel completed by November 30, 2008. Fares with the V booking class may be changed to flights in the same fare class with a payment of $150 per ticket, unless the ticket is re-booked for U.S. outbound travel through April 31, 2008.

United: If you have a domestic United ticket issued before the onset of war, you may postpone your travel through Sept. 1, 2008. If you have an international United ticket issued before the onset of war, you may postpone your travel through Dec. 31, 2008. If you are in the middle of a trip using United tickets, United will waive change and cancellation fees.

US Airways: If you have a US Airways ticket, you may change your travel plans within 90 days of the onset of war or a Level Red alert without paying any change fee.

Virgin Atlantic Airways: If you have a ticket between the U.S.A. and the United Kingdom dated by April 7, 2008, you may cancel it and re-book by May 31, 2008, for travel completed by December 31, 2008, without paying any change fees. All changes must be made at least 72 hours prior to departure. No shows will not be eligible to re-book under this policy.
