In Regent's Park is London Zoo, a
36-acre conservation centre which houses more than
650 species. London Zoo's animal collection includes
invertebrates, reptiles, fish, birds, and small and
large mammals such as lions, tigers, gorillas, elephants,giraffes,
rhinos and bears.
Web of Life is an exhibition about the variety of
life on Earth. Housed in the Millennium Conservation
Centre at London Zoo, the exhibition brings together
interactive activities and animal displays.
Directions
Underground: The nearest station is Camden Town (Northern
Line). Follow the signs up 'Parkway' to the Zoo (12
minute walk). Please note that passengers cannot travel
from Camden Town station between 1pm and 5.30pm on
Sundays. Rail: The nearest station is Euston. Take
the Underground (Northern Line) from Euston to Camden
Town. Bus: Services run from Oxford Circus and Baker
Street (no.274), to Ormonde Terrace. Pick up the C2
from Oxford Circus or Great Portland Street, to Gloucester
Gate. Waterbus:The London Waterbus Company runs a
scheduled service along the Regent's Canal between
Camden Lock or Little Venice and London Zoo. For full

2550. Road:The Zoo's Main Gate is situated on the
Outer Circle of Regent's Park, NW1. Parking is available
in the Zoo's Gloucester Slips Car Park at £5
per car, per day. £12 is payable at the car
park, with £7 refunded when paying to get into
the Zoo. Pay and display parking is also available
on the Outer Circle between 9am-6.30pm (except Saturday
from 1.30pm), at 25p per fifteen minutes.
